Hi there!
I have been part of the Thrive LA Church family for two years now, and am excited to join the pastoral residency program!
My heart is for people in Los Angeles to experience holistic healing and thriving, and the transforming love of Jesus.
In this program, my role as the Next Steps Director includes pastoral care, prayer, discipleship, training and equipping leaders, and communications.
Prior to this role, I worked for Young Life Hollywood for 7 years where we provided mentorship for teenagers, shared the Gospel and helped them grow in their faith, and walked alongside them in life. During this time, I have been changed by Jesus and by the many people I have had the privilege to know!
One of the things I’ve also experienced in Young Life is bringing kids to church with me. I see a need and opportunity to welcome and connect people to church, especially those who have never had a church home (like some of the teenagers) and help create a place where they feel welcome, belong, and can grow in their faith and journey with Jesus in a welcoming family. I am excited to join God and the family at Thrive LA to create a welcoming place where healing, transformation, and thriving happens by the power of the Holy Spirit.
As part of the Pastoral Residency program, I am responsible for fundraising the majority of my salary.
